The Crowning of our Lady - Primary School

The month of May is dedicated to the Blessed Mother Mary. Throughout the month, our Blessed Mother is honoured with various Marian Devotions and the most important devotion has been the Ceremonial Crowning of Our Lady at the end of the month. Keeping the traditions, the Ave Marian Family celebrated the Crowning of Our Lady on the 31st of May. This was followed by a holy mass in the school main hall. The reflection and the blessing by Rev. Fr. Janaka Jayalal lifted the day’s proceedings. The Holy Rosary and the Litany were recited before the mass, paying homage to our Blessed Mother and asking for her intercession.
